7 days traveling, sightseeing, oohing and aahing.
first airplane ride for 4 little girls.
and first boat ride, and bus, and monorail.
riding the rides, meeting the people, hugging princesses.
parades and fireworks and shows, and more shows, and more shows.
tess, seeing mickey mouse for the first time.
annie, seeing the castle for the first time...
and watching everything through her eyes, knowing that she believes...
really believes. in all of it.
kate on her first scary roller coaster.
erin meeting sleeping beauty.
sara, always happy to be along for the ride.
mama and daddy, getting to enjoy time--real time--with the girls,
and with each other.
it was more amazing and more wonderful than i could have ever imagined.
easier than i ever expected.
i admit i probably counted to 5 about 100 times in the 7 days,
but we did a pretty good job keeping all our ducks in a row.
i think we were all a little sad to come home,
and getting back to normal life today involves a lot of laundry and patience.
if you ask me about it today, i will probably have tears. lots of tears....
going from 7 solid days of family time back to school
starting feels like a bit of a rough transition. (for the mama, at least.)
but i feel pretty great, and pretty relaxed, and love knowing this new side to my family.
we'll go back...
that's a promise we've made to 5 sweet little faces about a million times
in the past week.
we will definitely go back.
