breakfast with grandma

mom and i walked over to starbucks after dropping the girls off at

school and had a sweet little breakfast with tess and sara.

(this post could also be titled: proof that i am always about a week

behind in my blogging, because right now grandma is tucked away

safely in her little farm and no where near milwaukee!)

we had an ent consult for tess yesterday after months (and months.

and months) of sinus problems and antibiotics. the day ended with

an xray (of tess), sara screaming in her carseat, and 3

un-accompanied kids in the waiting room. aack! however, tess

getting the xray done was memorable....she did so amazingly

great! they put her on a cold exam table, tied her arms down,

put sandbags on her legs so she couldn't move them, and

made me lift her chin way up so they could get the

right shot. then they wanted her to breathe through her nose

(seriously, people?!?) so they kept having me blow in her face, but

every time I did that she just laughed! i couldn't believe that kid.

they did get the xray. results to hopefully come soon.

(they also asked me if i was pregnant. it had been a long day.

i actually laughed out loud and said "oh my god NO!"

i'm not sure if they thought i was funny.)

this girl has the run of the house every afternoon while

kate is at school and her little sisters nap. she's pretty

good at entertaining herself while i try and get things

done. does she like to be the only kid around?

yes.

tess continues to be sara's biggest fan.

she loves to hold her and snuggle her and

calls her "see-ya".

and if sara is crying, tess makes sure you know,

(even if you are holding her),

by saying "baby crying!"

these two are how i get my boy fix.
